PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Our project INOSCOPE has been selected for funding, alongside other great initiatives.
In recent years, the number of space launches has increased exponentially, leading to a surge in objects orbiting Earth. Low Earth Orbit (LEO) is becoming increasingly crowded, especially with the planned deployment of mega-constellations. Monitoring resident space objects (RSOs) is critical to avoid collisions between satellites and space debris.
INOSCOPE will address this challenge with a cost-effective, easy-to-deploy optical telescope system. Using Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) components and proprietary image processing software, the system will track and analyze LEO objects with tailor-made surveillance strategies.
In Transit is an EU-funded project that supports SMEs in aerospace, textile, advanced manufacturing, and construction, helping in their transition toward greener and more digital solutions. It provides funding, coaching and advisory services to boost innovation and sustainability across these industries.
